In honor of Worldwide Labyrinth Day, VP of Outreach/Education for the Labyrinth Society, Frank Faine will be leading a guided walk at the Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve “Labyrinth on the Hill” on May 5 from 9:00am-11:00am.
Frank is the project coordinator for the Rollins College Labyrinth Project, which has been designated a Legacy Labyrinth, an effort that works to create a global network of labyrinths dedicated to peace and healing.
Additionally, his work is developing innovative ways to share the labyrinth experience and create a more collaborative model for the World Wide Labyrinth Day annual event.
All are welcome to join us as we walk together connecting the global labyrinth community in fresh, new ways. Please wear comfortable footwear, a hat, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.

World Labyrinth Day
Saturday, May 6th is World Labyrinth Day and thousands of people will participate in the fifteenth annual recognition. Participants worldwide will “Walk as One at 1” by walking a labyrinth at 1:00 PM their local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.
We invite you to join Sardis friend and certified labyrinth facilitator, Ed Gash, at the Sardis Baptist Church prayer garden for a guided labyrinth meditation on this special day. The walk will begin at 1:00 PM. Those who are unable to attend in person are encouraged to download a finger labyrinth and participate virtually. A Walk for Peace (Greensboro, NC)
Please join us around the Holy Trinity Labyrinth on May 6 to make our shared energy of love and connection felt throughout the world.
The labyrinth is located in the center courtyard facing Greene Street. Printed labyrinths will be available for those who prefer to trace the handheld pattern in lieu of walking. The handheld labyrinth is an alternate contemplative practice.
Musician Justin Horth will accompany the walk with gentle drumming and indigenous instruments.
Our intention for this walk includes a prayer for world peace that begins in the heart of each one present.

We will be participating here at the Otto Labyrinth Park on May 6th in Walk as One at 1 worldwide rolling wave of labyrinth walking. This event begins with a Faerie Forest walk, gifting the wee folk with crystals and music, followed by a setting of intentions for the walk. At 1 pm we will enter the labyrinth, gather in the center and experience a group guided imagery for peace. Walking out is relaxed for individual reflection and renewal.

2023 World Labyrinth Day Open House is a great opportunity to learn about labyrinths, meet other labyrinth lovers, and walk both the Divine Masculine Labyrinth (Green Man) and the Divine Feminine Labyrinth (Goddess). Meryl Ann Butler, founding member of the Labyrinth Society, designed this mirror image pair of labyrinths for our wedding (WLD 2012). Butler has published 20 articles about labyrinths: Stillwaters is included this year, as well as three other times.
