Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. Join us for “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next. 12 p.m. – Meet at the Nature Center. Together, we’ll head to the park’s labyrinth to participate in the Walk at One at 1. While everyone has their turn at walking the labyrinth, the park will have handheld and finger labyrinths available to use. This is a great program for all ages. All participants will get their very own labyrinth sticker to take home.

Every first Saturday of May is World Labyrinth Day, when people worldwide walk the labyrinth to meditate for peace and celebrate the labyrinth experience. Join our parish’s Labyrinth Guild and Episcopal Peace Fellowship chapter in the parish hall to “walk as one” in prayerful meditation 1–3 p.m. lifting peace in our hearts for the Holy Land, Sudan, Ukraine, and other parts of God’s creation suffering from war and conflict.

St. John’s Episcopal Church built a new labyrinth this winter and we are pleased to join the World Labyrinth Day Walk for Peace as One at One pm on Saturday, May 4th.

World Labyrinth Day 2024 at Boxerwood Gardens is a community event, open to the public and free of charge.  Mary Ann Wamhoff, a Veriditas Advanced Accredited Labyrinth Facilitator, will guide us as we Walk As One at 1.
