World Labyrinth Day: The Revolution is in the Pause (Hartford, CT)


The Revolution is in the Pause and we are taking May 2024 to pause and reflect on the last four years in order to imagine and set our intentions for the next four years.

We will be starting the month by participating in World Labyrinth Day on May 4th and hope that you can join us as we set intentions and of course, build connections. 

The day will include somatic abolitionist activities and conversations and at 1pm we will host a formal collective labyrinth experience.

Heal yourself heal the world

Join us at Kiss of the Dawnland Retreat Center on World Labyrinth Day as we come together to celebrate unity, peace, and inner harmony. Hosted by Dr. Z, this special event will guide participants through a transformative experience of walking the labyrinth as a symbol of our interconnectedness. We will then walk the labyrinth together as a group at 1 pm EST. As we join thousands of labyrinth walkers around the world walking their labyrinth at 1 pm local time, we will create a wave of peaceful and yet empowering energy tapestry around the world. We will reflect on our own inner peace and how it can contribute to peace in our family, community, and the world. After the walk, we will do a group circle of journaling and sharing. Light and nourishing refreshments will be served.

To ensure the privacy and tranquility of the walk, we have very limited space, so please RSVP by April 20th. To reserve your spot ASAP, please click the registration link to the right. We will send you a detailed agenda and prepare you for the event if this is your first time.

Send Your Intentions Across the Universe!

Walk with fellow Jedi Masters on the labyrinth path, sending love and prayers around the planet and across the universe.  Event will begin with a reading and will involve an opportunity to write prayers and intentions on water-soluble paper, which will be poured on a patch of Earth along the labyrinth path at c. 5pm.  An Invitation to share your experience will also be provided. World Labyrinth Day--"Nature Therapy" (Canterbury, NH)

Explore two unique woodland labyrinths!

“Love and Grace” is a Chartres-type stone-lined labyrinth high above Hayward Brook (a 3/4-mile round-trip hike), custom designed with separate entrance and exit (so two visitors can walk it at the same time without having to step off the path). The “Peace” labyrinth, located amongst shady hemlocks, offers quiet family-friendly focusing. 

WLD admission: $7 per person (infants are free). Includes both labyrinths, 2+ miles of trails/paths, plus use of the Arbor Day-certified Outdoor Classroom / play-space / picnic area. **Adults/Kids Yoga will be offered by reservation**. Hike at your own risk--watch for slippery rocks! Please leave pets at home.
