About Carin Wennink & UTC+2
Carin is a member of LabyrintWerk, the network of labyrinth workers in the Netherlands and Belgium. On the LabyrintWerk website , you'll find labyrinths to visit, labyrinth workers to meet, and activities to participate in.
My daughter (11 at the time) described my work as "you inspire people." I describe my work as "gatekeeper." It's the process of letting go of something old and crossing a threshold on the way to something new. My premise is that when you ask a question, you already have the answer within you. Sometimes it's helpful when someone helps you become aware of that answer. A gatekeeper, for example!
Nature and the cosmos are my greatest teachers. They ground me, making me feel a valuable part of that larger whole. The labyrinth has taught me to walk my life path with confidence. Walking through this unique geometric shape brings me balance in every way. It has brought me home, home to myself. My love of myths and fairy tales helps me describe life creatively and openly. I trust my common sense, my good heart, and my inner knowing.
My work as a gatekeeper
...expresses itself in many forms. I offer guidance where earthly creative power and practical spirituality converge, encounters fostered by the bed of nature and the labyrinth. Walking coaching, nature coaching, labyrinth sessions, energetic healing, or esoteric conversations. I develop nature training programs (including digital), give training courses, guest lectures, and write practical workbooks. I was one of the editors for, among other things, the book "Way to the Labyrinth" by LabyrintWerk and the "Kleur-Wijs" book series by Wilga Zibel. Together with my husband, Jack Peters, I ran Schaapshoeve, a center for personal growth and well-being, for thirteen years. In 2021, Selma Sevenhuijsen asked me to take over her training program "Working with the Labyrinth".
