Compassion within to Encourage Peace in the World
Beth Sikora, PhD, a Veriditas advanced trained, will lead the walk. She’ll provide a brief description of the labyrinth and 4 Rs of the labyrinth walk. In our 4th walk for peace we will focus on how becoming a people of compassion is essential to developing peace. It’s a difficult time in our world, and changes must come within before they can come in the world. We’ll share a moment together after all have walked.

Walking the path of a labyrinth is a way of learning and praying through movement instead of through thinking. Bring your receptive hearts and experience the amazing synergy of this group experience to elevate the intention for peace and planetary healing. In a time of uncertainty, walking together matters
Participants will have an opportunity to join the hosted virtual finger labyrinth walk at 10:00 am with Lauren Artress in the library or to join us outside on the classical labyrinth.
An introduction to the labyrinth at 10 am followed by a hosted/open walk.
Participants will have an opportunity before/after the introductions for prayer, physically walking the labyrinth and to use personal reflection stations prior to a closing meditation for all who remain at 11:15 am on the labyrinth.
You are welcome to participate by choosing to walk the labyrinth alone or to join us in all activities.

I plan to be in the Labyrinth Room at Heart of Steamboat UMC at 1pm on Saturday, May 4, to walk the labyrinth and say my prayer for peace in my life and in the world. Location: Farmington, UT - From the Bonneville Shoreline Trail north of Farmington Canyon, find the 'Indian Graveyard' along the trail near the base (50 yards east) of one of the tall metal towers for the electric power transmission lines. The Labyrinth is 200 yards directly south and down hill from the plaque which is placed at the Indian grave site described on the weblink.
