World Labyrinth Day Events

We will meet at 12 for a brief talk about labyrinths, share a picnic and then walk the labyrinth at 1 pm so we can "Walk as One at 1" with the rest of the world.

Registration is not required.

At 12:00 we will meet at the Civic Park labyrinth and I will give a brief talk about the labyrinth, and how it can be used for personal or community purposes, and then we will share a picnic lunch in the park (please byo food/drink/rug/chairs). At 12:57 pm we will start our circumnavigation of the labyrinth to warm it up, ready to join the GLOBAL "Walk as One at 1" labyrinth walk at 1:00 pm. Children welcome, pets not. Please share widely in the Armidale community as this will be a chance for people to find out about the labyrinth who haven't yet experienced it.

Come and walk with intention for world peace at Centennial Park Labyrinth on Sat May 6th at 1pm in the beautiful parklands of Centennial Park

Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. Many “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next.

The details of our walk are as follows:

Round Range Retreat Eugowra will host its annual World Labyrinth Day walk at their bush labyrinth 14km north west of Eugowra from 1pm -3pm AEST. This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Join us and share in the annual global walk for peace. The labyrinth area is accessible for all however the labyrinth paths are narrow and slightly undulating and can only be walked. Finger labyrinths will be available for those not wanting to walk the bush labyrinth. Learn about their history, benefits and the practice of walking a labyrinth.

Come along to the Community garden and enjoy the beautiful mosaic labyrinth. We will walk together as one for World Peace at one pm.
