Join Veriditas trained Labyrinth Facilitator, Rob Meyer-Kukan at Webster United Church of Christ, Dexter, Michigan for a labyrinth walk on World Labyrinth Day!

This event is offered as a donation based event to support the work of Webster UCC. Donations may be made to Webster UCC.

World Labyrinth Day Celebration (Indianapolis, IN)

On Saturday, May 7, the Mindfulness in Law Society—Indiana, powered by Thought Kitchen, will host a World Labyrinth Day celebration at Cumberland First Baptist Church. The labyrinth will be open for walking 10 am – 2 pm. At noon, Loretta Oleksy will offer a gentle yoga practice, with a sound bath facilitated by Jill Carnell for savasana. Bring your yoga mat, blankets, bolsters, pillows, etc.

We plan to be outside for all events unless the weather is inclement. In that case, we’ll move gentle yoga and sound bath inside. Hope you will join us!

Celebrate World Labyrinth Day! (Zionsville, IN)

Walk As One For Peace

Join me and my co-host, Julia Clement, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, as we bring the celebration of World Labyrinth Day to Zionsville, Indiana for the first time!

An indoor Chartres-style labyrinth will be available for Open Walking from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We will provide information, instruction, and guidance as needed. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary!

At 1:00 PM, I will offer a short meditation to prepare us for our "Walk as One for Peace" labyrinth experience. During the meditation and labyrinth walk, we will contemplate and tap into how we can create PEACE within ourselves, our relationships, our homes, our workplaces, our schools, our communities, our countries, and our world.

We will be joining in spirit and connection with thousands around the world who will also be walking at 1:00 PM in their local time zones. This will create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.

ALL are WELCOME to this FREE event!

Labyrinths are ancient archetypes and symbols that have no affiliation with any specific religious or spiritual tradition and are found in many cultures. They provide opportunities for personal reflection, walking meditation, spiritual practice, mental health wellness, and alleviation of stress.

Walk a temporary painted cloth labyrinth on the lower level of the Prince of Peace United Methodist Church. Enter from the building ramp between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. As you walk, pray silently in your own way or a prayer from a handout of short peace prayers from various religions. Join with people all around the world in praying for peace wherever there is conflict and suffering, destruction and death.

On Saturday, May 7, 3:00-4:00 p.m. there will be a special labyrinth walk at The Clearing to celebrate World Labyrinth Day.

We will gather at The Clearing’s labyrinth---joining thousands of people from all over the globe who will walk labyrinths in their time and space that day--reflecting on this shared theme of building labyrinth communities for service to ourselves and the planet.

The session will begin with a brief overview of labyrinths—their significance and lessons they offer--followed by a heart centering meditation; we will then proceed to walk the labyrinth together in silence.

Whether you’re new to the labyrinth, or a “seasoned” walker, please join us for this special opportunity to cultivate inner stillness and generate peacefulness and service for the planet. And consider inviting a friend!

There is no charge for this event, and In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.

Location: The Clearing Folk School, Ellison Bay WI. to find the labyrinth and parking please use the “Main Campus” entrance to the Clearing (not the Jensen Center entrance), and turn left at the fork in the road; watch for signs that say “Forge and Workshop” and turn left again to find the parking lot; it is about a 5 minute walk to the labyrinth.
